AI Usage Policy

This blog is the gym where I work out my thoughts, my creative space, and a home for fleeting sparks of inspiration.

I’ve always felt that if all of this were generated by AI, then this blog would lose its reason for existing. It would become an AI’s blog, not the blog of me, Alice Hsu.

Since this is my blog, everything creative in it comes from my own hand. That said, I do use AI tools to help manage the site and with translation.

So, to make it clear to readers what’s my own work and where I’ve used AI assistance, I’ve written up the details below for reference.

Writing

All the Chinese posts on this blog are written entirely by me, without any AI tools.
The English versions are translated with the help of AI tools, then edited and proofread by me before publishing.

Images

Unless a source is noted, all images are photographed or drawn by me, without any AI-generated graphics.

Music

Everything on my Music page is my own composition, without any AI tools.

Video

All videos are shot and edited by me, without any AI tools.

Website Development

This blog is built with Hugo, and I used AI tools to help design and build its theme.
